Anyone new to the Iron Range! Whether you arrived last week or last year you’re welcome. Even if you’re just considering a move to the Range, come join us to learn more about the community.
Our community blends rich cultural heritage with modern opportunities. From our stoic Finnish and Slavic roots to our love of sauna (“sow-na”) culture and seasonal activities, the Range has a distinctive way of life that newcomers grow to cherish.
Each meet-up features a topic about Range life, activity, and plenty of time for organic conversation. You’ll meet other newcomers and connect with long-time residents who are eager to share their knowledge and experience.
Depending on the activity, you may need to dress for the occasion. Snowshoeing requires wearing your winter coat. πΒ We work to make these easy. When in doubt, drop us a line!
Beyond our gatherings, we can connect you with volunteer opportunities through the United Way’s Volunteer Hub. It’s a great way to meet people while making a difference in your new community.
