The Iron Range is undertaking its largest educational infrastructure investment since the early 1900s. With support from the Iron Range School Collaboration Account, our districts are building state-of-the-art facilities designed for next-generation learning:

  • New $102.7 million Rock Ridge campus
  • $47.7 million PreK-12 school in Nashwauk-Keewatin
  • $32 million new E-6 school in Chisholm
  • Community wellness centers integrated with schools

Academic Achievement

Iron Range schools maintain a strong tradition of student success, supported by dedicated educators and innovative learning environments. 

  • Consistently strong graduation rates across all districts (85-92%)
  • 86-88% of students report positive teacher relationships across several districts
  • New flexible learning spaces encouraging collaboration and creativity
