TEDx Silver Lake

February 2024

Iron Rangers are movers and shakers. This year, we hosted our first regional TEDx: Silver Lake. For those unfamiliar, TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is “a nonprofit dedicated to discovering and spreading ideas that spark conversation, deepen understanding and drive meaningful change.” Worldwide and non partisan, TED’s aim is to “help create a future worth pursuing for all.”

TED created a program called TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. These are themed events, organized and held worldwide. The theme for TEDx Silver Lake, held in Virginia in February 2024, was “Crossing the Divide,” ideas that bring us together. The goal was to create inspiration, passion, and curiosity in the talks.
